Jesus raises His eyes toward His disciples and overturns the world’s logic. The Beatitudes are not merely comforting morale, but the proclamation of a new joy belonging to the poor and persecuted. Let us open our hearts to the hope of the Kingdom that transforms our wounds into blessing.

Lord Jesus, loving gaze that comforts the afflicted,
teach our souls the path of true happiness.
Deliver us from the illusion of passing riches.
Grant us poverty of spirit to welcome Your Kingdom.

Blessed are those who weep, for they shall find Your relief.
Blessed are those who suffer for Your Name, for their reward is in heaven.
Guard us from the traps of hypocrisy and easy praise.
May we seek only Your approval and Your peace.

Spirit of Wisdom, transform our tears into living hope.
