Jesus reveals to us the secret of the Kingdom. Whoever holds back life loses it. Whoever offers it receives it back multiplied. True love fears no sacrifice.
Lord Jesus, Grain of wheat fallen to the earth,
free us from the temptation of keeping everything for ourselves.
Teach us the value of quiet and fruitful self-offering.
When fear of sacrifice paralyzes our hearts,
grant us the courage to trust in Your word.
May our daily actions carry the fragrance of genuine love.
Holy Spirit, turn our small deaths to selfishness
into opportunities for hope to bloom around us.
Make us humble servants eager to follow Your footsteps.
Where You are, may Your servant also be found.
Welcome our weakness into Your merciful embrace.
