On this day dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, we contemplate Christ’s love that welcomes every person. His Heart is a refuge for the weary, comfort for those who suffer, and a source of peace for all who seek Him with sincerity.
Lord Jesus,
today I gaze upon Your Heart.
A Heart open to all.
A Heart that knows every burden I carry.
A Heart that never turns away.
When the weight of life becomes heavy,
teach me to come to You.
Like a traveler finding shade along the road,
may I find rest in Your presence.
Grant me a humble heart.
Free me from the pride that divides.
Help me recognize Your voice
in the small moments of each day.
May Your love heal hidden wounds.
May it dissolve fear.
May it kindle hope.
May it make my gaze toward others more gentle.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
keep me within Your love.
May I remain united with You
today and forever.
Amen.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus invites the little ones and the weary to come to Him. The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals this merciful love: a love that does not crush but sustains; does not condemn but lifts up. Christ offers us His yoke, the path of love and trust in the Father. Those who entrust themselves to Him discover a deep peace that sustains them even through life’s greatest trials.
