In the Immaculate Heart of Mary we contemplate a mother who listens, welcomes, and treasures God’s work. Even when she does not fully understand, she remains faithful. Today we ask for the grace to keep the Lord’s Word in our hearts and to walk in trust.
Mary, Mother with the Immaculate Heart,
teach me to listen to God’s voice
amid the noise of my daily life.
Grant me a heart that is attentive and willing.
When I do not understand what is happening,
help me not to lose trust.
May I learn to wait patiently
for the Lord’s timing.
You who searched for Jesus with love,
guide me whenever I feel lost.
Lead me back to His presence
and to the joy of His Gospel.
Watch over my family.
Make our homes places of peace,
sincere dialogue,
and simple prayer.
Holy Mother, walk beside me.
May every word and every choice
bring me closer to Jesus,
today and forever.
Amen.
In the Gospel, Jesus is found in the Temple after days of searching. Mary does not fully understand His words, yet she keeps everything in her heart. The Immaculate Heart of Mary teaches us to welcome God’s mystery with trust, even when we do not have all the answers. Mature faith grows through listening, patience, and confidence that the Lord guides every step of our lives.
